Child account stuff....Please respond

Well, I made my account awhile back and I actually put my real date of birth... imagine that :|. well, I'am 18 now, I have promoted my account to an adult(I know my parents email and password because they gave it me me). Some games wont let me play online (example. BF3 beta wouldn't let me, says I was too young, and Skate 2).

I want to know if I can get rid of the having my parents email on there and want to get rid of all this parental s***. I'am 18 years old, turning 19 in April and I don't want to deal with this problem by going on my brothers account to play some online games... it seems all the games associated with EA are the only games that wont let me play online...

I want to be done with this not old enough b***s***! Microsoft needs to make it easier to make an account adult and have having it a child account and be able to edit date of birth and take of parental controls forever!

Thanks, yours truly James

This has nothing to do with Microsoft. EA manages their own age information. You'll need to get in touch with EA to resolve the issue of playing EA games online.

I've made a new  email with the proper date of birth (1993), switched my old email to my new one and it still doesn't work, ive tried many things...

The only things I'am not allowed to do is go on the social networks like facebook, twitter etc... and games that are associted with EA sports... I play gears of war 3 online, cod, and every other mature game out there thats not assoicted with EA sports

Your settings are probably on too strict - as my little brother was able to play with a child account on BF3 Beta and he's 10. Also, isn't 18 the age when your allowed to promote your account to adult? So you dont have to deal with this stuff..
