changing my xbox live acct that my acct is attached to now to a different card

i am having trouble updating my payment options i added a new debit card to my account and tried to switch the xbox live account to that card but it won't let me the option to do that isn't even popping up on the screen. if you could help me fix this that would be greatly appreciated by responding to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** thanks

You should be able to add the new card as a primary payment method at commerce.microsoft.com.  If you can't get it sorted that way then give phone support a try.  They should be able to help you out.
