First try in a different browser just to eliminate that possibility, but after that you should wait at least 48 hours before trying again. This allows the system to refresh the information it has on you.
If that still does not resolve it (and there is a chance it will, because the XCL website is a little temperamental), post back here and we'll see if they can look into your account.
However, looking into your account is a longer process and still requires that you apply via the XCL website, not that you get manually added.
These are the instructions I have been given after I had a chat with one of the Support Agents after seeing numerous instances of people experiencing the same issue as yourself.
