Cant stay connected to XBL anymore

Alrighty.

I turn on my xbox, select my profile, and sit a dash for a few mins all fine no disconnects. I load up mw2 and instantly makes me re-connect to live, still fine, i sit in the multiplayer lobby talkin to some friends to play with, all fine, I join a game and look at the clock, its 11:04pm. A couple minutes in i die and try to skip the killcam, it goes completely through, while lagging and cant see scoreboard, At this point i know i disconnected so I just sign out and sign back it and works fine for another 4 minutes in-game, It was working fine last week, roll into this weekend, i only get 4 minutes to play, I try playing on the ps3, i play fine no disconnects for HOURS, and my xbox is wired to my pc, and pc is bridged to a wireless connection (4/5 bars) w/ linksys AE1200 adapter. Works fine with wireless on ps3, and on xbox for a lonnng time, then this starts happening. Im about to say f it and cancel monthly subscription.

I'd start by clearing the system cache (it's just updates plus other temporary files, nothing that's at all important to anyone) by:

1) Tap the silver Xbox Guide button on the controller, go right 2 clicks to Settings, pick System Settings.

2) Select Storage (or Memory).

3) Move over any hard drive or memory unit (not the Cloud) & press (Y) on your controller & pick Clear System Cache.

4) When asked to confirm storage device maintenance, choose Yes.

Hey VVindow! First, can you tell us some more details about the issue? Does this only occur with certain titles or is it all game titles? Do you have issues connecting to other parts of the LIVE service, such as streaming video or browsing the Marketplace? Things you have tried: Everything imaginable, delete cache, delete acc and recover, turn off router

Hi again! Would you be able to also answer the questions I asked above - Does this only occur with certain titles or is it all game titles? Do you have issues connecting to other parts of the LIVE service, such as streaming video or browsing the Marketplace? As a test, would you be able to try a wired connection, directly to the router? Then directly to the modem? Do either of these methods allow you to connect to Xbox LIVE successfully? Let us know! :)

Hello ive had the same issues that you have had and it seems to be only Modern Warfare 2 with this problem i reset my router and cleared my cache and it worked

Mw2, Black ops. Halo: Reach works fine (online)

Seems only during the day it happens. at around 10 pm and on it works flawless, i was on till 4 last night no disconnects

I am having the exact same problem! Recently, the only games I have played are FIFA 12, Kane and Lynch 2 and Skyrim and it has happened with all the games!
