can't renew my gold subscription

about 13 days ago my 12 month gold subscription ran out. today i tried to renew it, but i would click on confirm purchase, and it would tell me it cant complete this action at this time. i tried first from my x box and then from my computer but still the same results. dose anyone know what the problem is?

If you are trying to pay with a credit card or debt card it might because you have no money on the account.

Looking at your profile it says you are currently gold meaning either 1) you figured it out and got gold purchased or 2) your sub did not actually run out but renewed and then got suspended for lack of payment. If the latter is the case you have probably been prompted recently to update your payment options. This might take a call to support to resolve. Either call them at 18004MYXBOX or setup a call back at support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

Have you checked all the info, payment acct + other is correct with no problems, at http://commerce.microsoft.com ?
 
If so, suggest you contact a Billing Agent. You can choose Option 1 after finding your country's support line: See http://tinyurl.com/XBLnumbers ...
 
but a faster way to speak to a Billing Agent is to go to http://xbox.com - sign in there if you can - then go to http://support.xbox.com/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:2:5
 
Click on Request A Call and type in a few lines explaining your issue and you will get called back quicker than if you waited in queue on hold.
