Cant play XLive or buy Gold

this is just getting beyond frustrating... I was able to play online yesterday, turned off the machine and about 7 hours later I tried to play online and was not able to. I kept getting the message "The current profile is not allowed to play online" so I went to purchase xbox live gold thinking my 12 month membership was up but when I try to make the purchase I get the message "This payment option is used on as many account as its allowed to be. Remove it from those accounts and try again, or add a different payment option" I also tried to use a 7 day xbox live gold trial and get the message "you already have gold"...Im stuck here and have no clue what to do.

You cannot use a trial code when you have an active Gold membership.

As for playing online, try holding the Power button on the console for 8 seconds until it shuts down.  See if that works.

I am having this same issue and completely powering off and back on the console didn't fix it for me either.

I also tried deleting my gt off of the xbone and redownloading it but that didn't fix it either.
