Cant play GTA 5

What's up everyone. So today i got home and to my welcome something happened. My GTA 5 said "ALERT The game was restarted due to a problem with the storage device where the game data was installed. Please replace the storage device and re-install the game data if the issues continue to occur" I have saw what everyone else did. I have deleted stuff i dont need. I cleared the cashe. I was thinking of switching to a USB to play GTA.  Will this remove my game progress? Will thi remove the problem? Or do i have to wait for another update? i am confused and not a technical kind of guy. I have an arcade xbox (a regular one. NOT A SLIM) I have a used and bought a 60 GIG hard drive) Thanks for any help.

Hello AvidTwo38,

The older models of Xbox have a terrible time with GTA V. Did you check your storage device where the data was stored? You'll have to move your save over to the USB so you won't have to start over. There is a possible chance that it may or may not remove the problem.

Hey ye highness,

Sorry to hear you're having issues with GTA V.

There are a couple of things to try for this:

  • Have you tried Installing the game to a different storage device?
  • Are you able to try a different set of discs to play?

Please let us know and we'll go from there.
