cant get to internet

Ok so I understand that there is an update. Yesterday I couldn't get on LIVE so I thought I could just wait. But after the update is complete and I accepted the terms of use, not only can i not get on LIVE, now I can't get on the internet with my 360. Whats up with that?

Hey there Unbent! Did you determine this using the "Test your connection to LIVE" test? If so, what happens when you press "Y" for more information? Have you also tried restarting your network hardware since you couldn't log on? Let us know if any of this helps :)

I used the test connection. Here is the info that came up:

W: 0000-000B

X: 0000-000D

Y: 0000-0000

Z: 0000-0000

ID FFFF-FFFF

L: 8015-1909

Q: 8007-0435

T: wired

A: 10.0.0.2/255.255.255.0

G: 10.0.0.1

D: classified (I don't want to give out my IP address)

So in a nutshell, this is my situation: yesterday - couldn't get on LIVE. Today - can't get on internet. I did not make any connection changes to my settings during that time. Reseting my modem and router did not work.

This really sucks because just yesterday I updated to Gold and now I have to deal with this.

Hey there - sorry for the delay, but thanks for the info! You may want to try resetting your console's connection settings to their defaults. To do so, from the Network Settings screen, please select "Configure Network", then "Additional Settings." You should be able to reset your settings there. Let me know if that helps! :)
