Cant download new update

When ever i try and download the update for today, the loading bar only goes up a bit then comes up saying, Can't download the update. To test your connection, open system settings and select network settings, test xbox live connection. If the problem persists, go to www.xbox.com/support.    Satus code: 3524 - 0000 - 3080 - 0506 - 8007 - 2EE2

Ive tested my connection its fine, ive also cleared the system cache, and its still coming up saying it, any support would be appreciated thanks.

@ Miss Portia...  Just because the hex error code indicates a home network issue it does not necessarily mean it is without a doubt a home network issue.

@EonSoldier96 - while true in rare cases, if the code points to a specific issue, troubleshooting that issue is the first step. If you skip steps in troubleshooting, you'll never know what the issue really is. You have to start with the first step. Hence, troubleshooting the network issue that the code is pointing to.

I too am having this same exact problem, I have tried the troubleshooting steps, and tried using a usb drive and none have worked. This might have something to do with upgrading from a 20GB hard drive to a 120GB hard drive on the old xbox 360

Dont u just love how microsoft ALWAYS say each persons problem is different lol even though we are all posting the same error code. Microsoft need to learn to A:comunicate with all ur levels of tech support and B: Actually employ people who actually do have some technical knowledge instead of getting any random person to read of ur scripted screens!

I have some similar problem. When i try and sign into Xbox Live , I need to download the newest update . I press ok then the update goes . It gets to the very end and then the green line freezes just near the end. After about an hour or 2 it says " Can't download the update. To test your connection, open system settings and select network settings, test xbox live connection. If the problem persists, go to www.xbox.com/support.    Satus code: ( bunch of numbers ). My connection is fine , I cleared the system cache and formated my HDD and none of it helped . Any support would be appreciated. Thanks .
