Can't download content on family account?

Hi All,

I have purchased a family membership, and set up three Live Gold Accounts.

Acc1 is the main, acc2 and acc3 are family members. Acc2 is on a seperate console.

Yesterday, acc2 tried to add microsoft points to their account but it said access is denied. How can I give them permission? (will I need to use my account on my console to give him permission, or will I need to transfer Acc1 to the same console as acc2, download using acc1 and then recover acc1 back to my original console)?

Any advice is much appreciated!

There are two options you have here:

1. You can redeem a MP Prepaid card on acc2

2. You can transfer MP (aka. grant an allowance) from acc1 to acc2. Here's some instructions on how to do that: http://support.xbox.com/en-us/Pages/xbox-live/how-to/family-pack/billing-points-family-pack.aspx#3 (click on the questions that says: "How do I share points with secondary accounts?")

I'll give that a go tonight, so I either transfer acc2 the points or pop out to my local Game store to purchase some MP for him.
