cant connect to xbox live

I cant get on xbox live as when i try to sign in i get the error message saying "Cannot connect to xbox live" and when i test the connection i get another message saying "There is a problem with your connection". This is the second time this has hapened to me and the first time it turned out to be the router that was the problem so i bought a new router which i was told that it was compatible with xbox live and it worked perfectly for about a month or two.

So i don't think that the router is the problem as it has worked before and i have tried all the solutions on the website but wasn't successful. I havn't been on xbox live in 2 months now so help would be much apreciated.

My router is a Linksys Dual Band Wireless-N, ADSL2 and the encription type is WPA-2

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Is NAT Type Open? Unknown

Any Error Codes you encounter: no

What type of internet do you have? DSL

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Post Office

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? "There's a problem with your connection"
