Can't Connect to Xbox Live

Modem brand & model number:   2Wire, not sure (it's new)
Router brand & model number:  Do not use router
Network Connection Type: Wireless/Wired Wired
If Wireless, what type of encryption are you using?
Things you have tried:
Restarting the Modem
Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown
Is NAT Type Open?
Yes
Any Error Codes you encounter: No
What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G?
DSL 12MB
Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? AT&T Uverse
When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen Everything checks out fine, until the last check to Xbox Live. Says please restart modem etc etc.

Are you still having this issue? There was some downtime yesterday, so I'm assuming that's what you were experiencing.
