Can't connect to Xbox Live!!!!!!!!!!!

All of a sudden I can't connect to Xbox Live. I did the connection test and it connects to the network and internet, but not live. Why???? Nothing has changed with my setup. Please help ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Preed11,

No opening you NAT does not mean that yanyone can connct to your internet.

What I would recommend doing is calling your ISP because it sounds like its an issue that is coming from there.

Im gonna be pissed if Mediacom is blocking Xbox Live on purpose....

Don't try to clone the MAC address like one guy suggested. All it did was make it where not only my Xbox wasnt connecting but nothing at all would... had to reset everything...

Yeah your right Meatwagon, the only thing we can do is sit back and wait on Mediacom, I mean to go through all the other stuff to try and get a connection or a direct modem connection, I mean anyone wil be bickering with it for minutes to hours, we just have to sit and wait it out...

My internet actually went off for about 10 minutes this morning. Maybe they are just doing some maintainence.

Hey Preed, have you tried a wired connection directly to the modem? You'll need to reset the modem when you do so. Please let us know if the issue persists in that scenario.
