Can't Connect to Xbox Live

I get a message that says my DNS server can't resolve the name of the Xbox Live server.  I have gone through every suggestion on the website.  I have my DNS settings on manual with the numbers:

68.87.75.198

68.87.64.150

I have tried calling my ISP and they can't help.  My xbox is hooked directly into the modem, so no help there.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried putting your DNS on automatic and see if it works.   Also, are you rebooting your modem prior to connecting your Xbox to it?  

If you are connecting directly to your modem, the DNS traffic has to come from your ISP.  So either your ISP is having issues or you have manually entered the DNS address wrong.

Yeah I tried using automatic and it didn't work either and I double checked the DNS settings on my computer
