Ok, lets try this :

- Turn off your router.

- On the Xbox, go to network settings and put all in automatic , save and Apply.

- When its done, press and HOLD 10 sec the power button of the console.

- Turn on the router , wait all lights

- Turn on the console and try to connect to your wifi.

If you are still not able to connect , i suggest you to call your internet provider.

Hello Natethaguardian

The DHCP server is part of your router.  It assigns different devices on your home network with unique IP addresses.  If another device on your network is using the same IP as one your console usually has, then your console won't be able to connect to the network.

You could try giving your console a static IP address, somewhat bypassing DHCP.  You can do this either on the console or via your router settings page.  This guide may be useful to you.

If that seems overly complicated - and to the network novice it probably will be.  You can try resetting your router to default.  At the back or the front of all routers there should be a reset, usually located in a small hole.  You reset it by inserting a paperclip until you feel a click sound.  This must be done while the router is powered up.

If you're not sure how to do this, consult your router documentation or contact your service provider.

I hope this helps!

Connecting to Xfinity WiFi requires that you go to the browser and log in using your xfinity credentials, kinda like when you use a hotel's wifi or airport's.

Even though it's not resolving the DHCP, go to Edge and see if it connects to the landing page.

Once you sign in you should be good to go.

(used to work for Comcast/Xfinity)
