cant connect profile to xbox live

please help!!!!

I am trying to sign in with my profile, but all I get is is "Sorry, this profile cant connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

I have done this, but when I try to sign in again, I get the message "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live", even though I have recently signed up for another 12 months of xbox live gold. can anyone help?

Hello

Looks like your profile is having issues

Delete your profile off the xbox 360

Go to System > Storage > HDD . Profiles and delete your profile (select delete profile only)

press the big green X guide button and select download profile

post back and let us know if this helped

Dude, I didn't post a problem because of the question you answered. So, I was having the same problem, did as you said, thanks, your suggestion fixed mine. I was wondering if it would permanently delete my account. To others that are having this prob. it doesn't. After you delete your profile, like he said, hit your center button on your control, and there will be a box that says (DOWNLOAD PROFILE) THATS IT.
