cant connect at all

ive tried all the suggestions on this site apart from the DHCP one which i have no clue about, ive looked on the router page and it says nothing about it, ive looked between the xbox 360 and the router and nothing seems to be interfering with it, im using the old 360 with a wireless adapter (showing green light) and a D-Link DIR-615 router

my laptop, iPad, ipod and every one elses laptops are working fine, it is only my xbox with any problems and i cant connect at all, ive tried changing wireless channel and various settings that are meant to help and nothing

i just removed it from the available networks and searched again, it came up with 1 result (laptop 1/2 metre away comes up with 5 or 6) and this isnt even my network, it seems that it is hiding my network or something even though ive got no problems on any other device

any help would be greatly appreciated
