Cant Connect a second live account to xbox without it dissconnecting from xbox live.

My account will connect to live no problem and i can see everything but as soon as my fiance signs on it kicks us off xbox live and we dont know why, ive done everything from resetting my router to resetting my network settings on the xbox its self. ive tried wireless connection and it does the same thing.  what is going on?!

Are you getting an error code when you try signing in with your fiance's profile to Xbox LIVE?

If you haven’t already, start by adding security proofs like phone numbers, alternate email addresses, and security questions and answers to your Microsoft account. This information is crucial to ensure that your account is well protected and meet the security standars that Microsoft now offers.

When this information has been added and updated, we can now start focus on the next step. Connecting to Xbox LIVE.

Delete your profile (Delete Profile Only). This will only delete your profile but leaves saved games and achievements. Learn how to delete your profile properly.

Clear your Xbox system cache. This will remove temporary files from the system cache. How to clear the system cache. This has proven to work best by clearing the system cache three times in a row.

Now restart your console and download your Xbox LIVE profile.

Please clear your cache and retry login.


1) Tap the silver Xbox Guide button on the controller, go 2 clicks right to Settings, pick System Settings.
2) Select Storage (or Memory if Storage).
3) Move over any hard drive or memory unit (not the Cloud) & press (Y) on your controller & pick Clear System Cache.
4) When asked to confirm storage device maintenance, choose Yes.

@taidara Yay! Now I can go play halo 2!  Thanks for the info. At the time I posted this the service alert was still live.
