Can't Add a Credit Card or Renew My XBOX LIVE GOLD Membership

Good Morning Everyone, how are you?

 

                         This morning I was trying to add a credit card to my account and whenever I was prompted to go to the next step, it kept redirecting me to "Your Session Has Expired" Page. I tried going through another way by clicking on the "Upgrade/Account Management" but it kept referring me to the same "Your Session Has Expired" Page. I want to know if the website is experiencing system management at this time and how long would it take to fix this problem? Thanks For Your Time and Enjoy the Rest of Your Day.

 

P.S. I would like to know as soon as possible so that I can play MVC 3 ONLINE!

Last night their was some kind of maintenance or something so try doing it today and if that same problem persists let us know

Have you tried adding your payment method on the console? More info in our Payment Method sticky forums.xbox.com/.../19164.aspx

I'm having the same issue.  I can't buy points or upgrade xbox live.  It has been doing this for 2 weeks straight.  I also tried transferring my previous purchases to my new xbox but it does nothing at all.  When I try to go through the console, it wants me to purchase everything again.

DemonFlya, sounds like you're describing a couple different issues. For the payment issue, have you tried multiple payment methods, as suggested above? If so, you'll want to call phone support at 800-4MY-XBOX if you haven't had results.

As for the content transfer, how are you completing that? Did you use a cable? A USB drive? Have you completed the necessary license transfer here?

As of 7-24-2011 I am still having a difficult time adding a Credit Card to my account or Upgrading to GOLD.  I posted this problem a month ago and I am surprised that the problem has been resolved yet. I believe Microsoft should give us some type of discount for having this problem not fixed a long time ago. I guess my last option is going to have to be using XBOX to add my Credit Card Information. I just worried that it may not be the safest option to do.

girly: If you can't remove a payment method, it's most likely attached to a current LIVE subscription. If the LIVE was purchased on the console, a payment method must be on the account for the duration. You can call phone support to deactivate the auto-renewal, and then when the subscription expires you can remove your card. More info: forums.xbox.com/.../19164.aspx

I am glad to announce that Microsoft has finally resolved this issue and I can successfully add a credit card to  my account. I still believe that Microsoft should give us a discount to apologize for the long inconvience. As for those who posted their other problems on this thread,  I suggest for you to try again since the problem could be recently fixed. I would like to Thank You all for your support and hope you enjoy the rest of your day! ^_^
