cant acces my live account

so ive been playing on the same live gamertag for atleast 10 years and recently my dad (who setup the account and used to know the password) divorced my mom and left blah blah blah. anyway i was trying to redeem a code to renew my gold membership it started asking me for a password to my dads old microsoft account which neither me nor him knew. then i couldnt get onto my gamertag at all. i just bought gta 5 and this 12 month card so ive just wasted all this money and dont know what to do. i asked my dad about getting the account back and trying to get onto all these old emails which he could do none of. someone please help.

Man sorry to hear about the situation. Let's see if we can get you back your GT.

First off, what is the GT in question? Does your father still have access to that Microsoft Account? If so, you will want to try and Recover your Microsoft account.

Xz K4t4cLySm zX is the GT and no he does not its a really old account thats the problem and ive tryed a lot of different ways to get it back but nothing seems to work,

It looks like you were able to get in touch with Chat Support the other day and they have passed your case up to an Advocacy Team to investigate. That definitely looks like it is moving in the right direction. That team will be best equipped to get things sorted out with your account. They will have given you a time frame to hear back from the team. They should contact you at the contact e-mail you provided with updates on your case.
