Cannot Upgrade to Gold Subscription

When I try and upgrade my account to a year Gold Subscription to Xbox Live. Status Code: 80190864 pops up and says, "Cannot retrieve information from Xbox Live. Please try again later." I've tried to upgrade it for several weeks now each time I am presented with the error. I also tried upgrading it on the Xbox website but I also got a similiar error. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I know it isn't the payment method.

The code means you have a billing violation. go to billing.microsoft.com and make sure all of your information is correct, up to date, and you don't owe any balances. If you can't fix it there, you'll have to call support and have billing help you out.

Make sure you are phoning them when they are open. The times are on the support page, where you get the number for your region.

i used my friends card to pay for something before. and now he has an outstanding bill on a different account. but it still says i have the bill and i get the error.. i have no bill and i cant play xbox live.. WTF!

i tried to check my billing info....

nothing to report on any unverified / failed transactions..

don't know what happened, it just happened all of the sudden and i have over 1000 NoK on my bank account, so money is not the trouble...

it started with the auto renewal not working then a cancellation and now i can't upgrade from silver to gold....

i've got the same problem. the problem is that the xbox is made by microsoft and microsoft hasn't made anything reliable since windows 95.

i called support In Norway and they said it was a problem with my creditcard....

so i called my bank, and they say that everything is OK....

so i figure that it's something wrong with microsoft servers and programing...
