Cannot remove credit card after auto renewal switched off.

Hi I'm in need of tech support as I've settled payments and switched auto-renewal off and I still can't remove the card. This is after I realised that the xbox live customer support never removed the card even though they said otherwise, and all debts were settled. I can't remember the reference number as it was around six months ago and I've since switched to prepaid cards.

If it due to money being owed that is incorrect as the payment was made to close the account.

Thanks.

You will need to phone support to have these issues resolved. No one on the forums will be able to assist you with that, sorry.

If a card is attached to an active gold account, whether auto-renewal is on or off, it can't be removed unless you either cancel the subscription or wait until the account reverts to silver and then you can remove it.

Thanks for the advice, I have to wait twelve months now to remove it as I just used a 12 month gold card, this really needs to be changed.

How is this legal? You have to call in to cancel or turn off auto renewal and are unable to remove you're card until you do. Then they have no refunds after you get auto renewed on... one of the dirtier ticks I've seen.

Hey FM! The no-refund policy is kind of a moot point after you've already turned auto renewal off, isn't it? Were you charged automatically after turning off auto renewal?
