Cannot connect via WiFi

I have the new XBOX slim with the built in wireless adapter. I've been able to connect to my wireless network in the past. Now, it will not retrieve an IP address from my network. My other devices such as my PS3, Wii, two cell phones, and DVR still connect via wireless. I've spoken with tech support, and they feel it's my router. When the XBOX tries to pull an automatic IP address, it retrieves a 169 IP address. I was informed that it's taking too long to retrieve the number. I find it hard to believe it's my router when all my other devices connect fine. Is there any possible way it could be something with the XBOX? It sees the wireless network, yet it won't retrieve information.

Hi,

Please read:- forums.xbox.com/.../9.aspx

And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

Thanks
