You may have to check the IP address the router is giving your XBOX. I have AT&T Uverse and sometimes the router gives the console an invalid IP address (even after the router has been reset). If that is the case, I temporarily give the console a static IP address. Check the IP address of your computer and follow the same format when giving the XBOX a static IP.

Hi,

Please read:- forums.xbox.com/.../811997.aspx

And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

Thanks

Hey there Num83R!
This could be something temporary. If you, "Test your Xbox LIVE connection" where does it fail on that test? Do you receive any error code or message (after you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection press "Y")?

You can also try reset your Xbox network settings to the defaults.

  • Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
  • Wireless connection only: Unplug the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter from the USB port (if applicable).
  • Turn on your console.
  • Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
  • Select Network Settings.
  • Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.
  • Select Configure Network.
  • On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.

If your still stuck. It would help alot if you please read: START HERE! And post back in full detail (the bit in bold under the title "Make a post").

Thanks!
