Hey Bryan,

Thanks for posting that error status report.

Could you also tell us if you see any error codes when you try to sign-in or create a new profile?

Let us know and we'll work from there =)

G'day Bryan! If you already have a Live-enabled profile (it can be free or Gold) then you can recover it by choosing "Download Profile" instead of "Create Profile."

If all of the profiles are gone from your console though, there may be something going on with the console's storage. Are you using an official Xbox 360 hard drive? Or were your profiles saved to something else?

It wont even let me sign in. It says that I cannot connect.  When i try to create a new profile it just goes back to the create new profile screen.  I cant connect to xbox live to download profile.  the storage is the original xbox storage.

Hey there Bryan! Thanks for getting back to us!

It sounds like this might be a connection issue. Is your "Bryan117117" account the account that you're trying to sign in with? If so, can you try downloading that profile to an Xbox 360 formatted USB drive to see if that yields better results?

If that doesn't work for you, do you have access to another Xbox 360 console (perhaps a friend or family member's) that you could try downloading your profile to to see if that works?

Let us know if you're able to try any of that and how it goes. We'll be standing by to hear from you! ^_^

I was not signing into xbox live before.  I was not even connecting.  I was just playing the games on the console.  the profile I set up on there is missing  and won't let me create a new one.  I tried to connect and now it won't let me connect to xbox live.  It shows that I am connecting to the internet and then errors at the xbox live point.

Thanks for that info, Brian. If your profile was not Live-enabled, and it's been deleted somehow, then I'm afraid it might be gone for good.

Let's check your console's hard drive in Settings > System > Storage. Select the HDD, then select the Profiles folder. Does your profile appear there? Do any files appear corrupt, marked with a yellow "!" ?

Check out the steps in our Connection Error Wizard for starters on connecting to Xbox Live. Let us know what error message you see, too. (MTU error, ICMP error, Live Connection error). We'll help you get back online!
