I am new to the Xbox Live Ambassador team, and much like you I have had this same problem while trying to play games like Battlefield 3. This is what I had to do to fix this error for myself.
First Clear your System Cache
This can be done by pressing the Xbox Guide button located in the middle of your controller, and moving right to the
Settings Tab. Next click on System Settings, Then
Storage. Make sure that the Hard Drive option is shaded, and press
Y and then click Clear System Cache.
After that you need to ReDownload your Profile.
This can be done by pressing the Xbox Guide button and holding
X to sign out. After that go to
Sign In, but instead of selecting your profile click Download Profile. Input your
email and password into the boxes that pop up and your profile should begin downloading.
After those steps are done you should be able to play your games again without any troubles. If this did not work please reply and I will help you from there.
Have a nice day
