I was playing live last night. my xbox froze during a game and i have not been able to connect to live since.

i saw a msg on the forums from mister fitzer to post these following details below:

i have tried most steps suggested, 2 x different wireless devices and wired - will not connect



What Country/State/Province do you live in?  UK

Router brand & model number: BT HOMEHUB 2.0 / V.20 Type A / Item Code: 044023

Network Connection Type: Wireless/Wired:  Using Wireless Adapter - but have tried both - same problem

If Wireless, what type of encryption are you using?  Wireless Mode: 802.11n / WPA2 / Channel 7

Things you have tried:  Just about everything that xbox have suggested - different wireless adapters, wired

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown : UNKNOWN?

Is NAT Type Open?  It's normally OPEN when playing Black Ops multiplayer - Otherwise I don't really know how to check it?

Any Error Codes you encounter: 


W: 0000-0021

X: 4000-1001

Y: 0000-0000

Z: 0000-0000

ID: 0001-0002

What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G?  DSL

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?  BT - British Telecom

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen?


Test Failed: "There's a Problem with your Connection" - Select More Info

- More Info: "Can't Obtain IP address from your router or modem"
