Hi,

That is failing at a very early and basic stage please try resetting the network settings of the Xbox back to factory defaults:-

Has your Xbox ever worked on this router? Has it ever worked connected to another router?

Virgin are certainly having issues with Xbox Live at the moment but you should still be able to get past this stage

And your not entering anything into the PPPoE section of the Xbox dashboard are you?

Also try these manual details in the Xbox:-

IP Address: 192.168.0.100

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway 192.168.0.1

I have never been able to connect to Live with my current Superhub.

I have been able to connecto Live with my past setup of a modem and router.

I have not entered any information into the PPPoE section.

After trying to assign the Xbox a static IP ( the one you provided) I was still unable to connect to the network/Live. I was informed by an error message telling me that I am using a static IP, the xbox cannot connect and that the IP maye be wrong.

I do not know if this will be of any use but, while my PCs wired connection to the superhub has a green, flashing light beside the port, my Xboxs port light is flashing yellow.

Have you tried a different port on the hub and cable? It sounds like the Xbox may be faulty

Yes, I have also tried switching ports. I shall ask my friend to bring his Xbox around to test out whether or not this problem persists only my Xbox.

Have you tried turning firewall on/off?

Try put your Xbox static IP-address in DMZ.

Did you confirm the changes when you did portforward?
