Cannot connect even...

Hey there.

I was online 4 years ago, with my GT VTS2000.

I set up my xbox 360 and wanted to play something, again.

Logging into the xbox live center, as usual ... but this time:

I couldn't login to my account on my xbox 360 - says false Email or Password with this Account.

But how does this happen? I am logged here and as well on outlook.com. So why is my xbox not correcting this issue?

Another one, managing my account here gives me this error:

Sorry to hear you're having trouble using your account. A lot has changed in 4 years and I'd fathom a strong guess that your account may need to have some security info updated on it. The good news is it's an easy process and will only take a moment of your time. I'd recommend first going to the support page for Managing Account Proofs. THis page has info on how to update your account. When you're ready sign in at http://account.live.com and update your info. Once this is done try signing into your profile on the Xbox and let us know how it turns out!

Oh, it only logs into my Account (Offline), but doesn't connects to Xbox Live (Online) ...

Going to have a break ... it is already late. 11:50PM.

Keep us updated on how it's going for you and if you have any other problems getting signed in we'll figure them out. In addition to my earlier suggestions you may need to redownload your profile after updating the account info.

 

Here's a quick guide on how to do that:

Re-download Profile

1) Tap the silver Xbox Guide button

2) Select Download Profile (and if you don't see it, press the blue X button to make sure you're not signed in) and proceed with Profile Download.

3) Enter the Microsoft Account address for your Xbox LIVE gamertag when asked.

4) Enter the password for the Microsoft Account.

4b) If your account is an Xbox LIVE child account, the parent’s Windows Live ID & password is required as well to download your profile.

5) Pick the storage device for your profile (choose Hard Drive if you have one, or Memory Unit if you don't have a Hard Drive).

6) When the download completes you will be asked if you want the console to remember your password. If it's your home console, I'd say yes, otherwise I'd think carefully about leaving my profile unprotected on somebody else's Xbox!

7) Sign in, and retry.

Going to test it. Just being busy right now. Was fixing the thermal grease in my xbox, was the very first ones of Microsoft... Really dry grease lol.

Worked!

Just in case of others who are facing the same problem with the error code "80151011":

Clearing the cache, restarting the console, downloading the profil - will fit.

Otherwise, trying to download it without clearing the cache will result in a "uncomplete" download of your profile - it will deny to download it further than 10%.
