Cannot access account or remove payment options

Hi

My Xbox live membership has been suspended as my payment card has expired. I have added a new card to my account but this is being ignored. I have attempted to remove the old expired card but i am getting a message saying I cannot do this through the dash board and to use the web. When I try to sign in on my laptop I get the below details. The code brings up no results in the code finder application so I am stuck in a loop. Please help me as I am unable to use Live while this continues.

I understand this is frustrating, i'm afraid generally for payment related suspensions it requires a phone call to support in your region.

Fingers crossed they will get you back up and running on live again!

You're UK based then (closed for me too - I found this out while I was looking for a number for you earlier)

On the plus side I did find a number or two for you for tomorrow AM - link support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

I took the information about contacting support from the ambassador FAQ. The text says:

(I do not mean “banned”, but suspended for credit card problems or similar…)

You’ll usually need to either update your existing credit card or provide a new credit card for payment. This will need to be done through Phone Support (1-800-4MY-XBOX), and the agent can take down the information and restore the account.

In the meantime, try going to billing.microsoft.com to see if you can adjust which payment option is attached to your subscription.  With any luck, it will switch it and settle the balance at the same time, thus restoring your Gold status.
