Cannot accept Xbox Live Terms of Use Loopte

Hi, 

I recently bought a Win 8 PC

Now I wanna access the xbox games app. It will ask me to accept the terms of use.
When I do it says i need a parrent while I am currently 19.(I checked if my account date of birth settings were correct)

So it forced me to go to Xbox.com. When I log in there and accept the Terms of use it redirects me to the loginscreen from Microsoft. 
Again I accept and get redirected. I have tried different ways to go to xbox.com myself but I keep getting a redirect.

I can login and go to my profile community page, but I get an error when I try to go to My account. (the button next to log off)

Can someone help me?

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your account.

There is a fairly easy way to change your account to an adult account, but you will need access to a console (either your own or you can download your profile onto a friend's console):

To promote a child account to an adult account

  • Sign in to Xbox Live by using the account that you want to change.
  • Go to Settings, and then select Account.
  • Select Promote Child Account.

    Note The age of an account owner is calculated by using the date of birth provided when the account was created. This date cannot be changed. If you entered an incorrect date of birth when you created the account, your only option is to create a new account using the correct date of birth. This option is available only if the date of birth for the account indicates that you have reached the age of adulthood (18 in the United States). The legal adult age varies by country and region.
     

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to promote the account.

I do not have access to a console with internet. Is there another solution to my problem?

Hello Tycho,

Unfortunately, there is no way to complete this process via a PC. Without a console, the only way to get this taken care of is by calling Phone Support and having them do it for you.
