Can't renew Xbox Live gold.

As I today decided to start playing Xbox again, I got my credit card, go to the Xbox, then buy Xbox live gold the old, usual way. But problem is, it won't let me. I get this error; Can't retrieve information from Xbox live. Status code 80190848.

I've searched around for solutions, and found this advice of removing all current payment methods and credit cards connected to the account, although it didn't work.

A year or two ago, I paid Xbox live with my mother's credit card, but not for too long, then I used my own. My mother's card expired some time ago, but mine is still ongoing, and won't expire until early 2013.

 

Help will be very much appreciated! :)

I tried to upgrade my Gold Account to a Family Pack today and had the same problem both from my console and the website.  Any time frame on a solution?

I believe that code suggests an account/billing error. You should call phone support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) to see about that.
