Can't log into parent account

I was wondering on how to get rid of a parent account on Xbox live. There was as recent change in Xbox Live Terms and Condition, that requires the original parent account to accept them (from my Xbox and also from the computer). I turned 18 well over a year and a half ago, the original parent account it asks me to sign in with no longer exists. So whenever i try to enter its original password it comes up as incorrect. I was wondering if there was a way to get around accepting these terms and conditions from it, or a way to change the account settings and remove the account entirely (Note* I can't sign into my Xbox to change these settings and whenever I try to do it from my computer it brings me to the accept terms and condition menu).

Hello Jat,

You will need to first gain access to the parental account in order for you to be able to successfully agree to the terms and conditions. You won't be able to change the parental e-mail without being able to login to the prior e-mail that's listed. If you're now 18, after you're able to agree to the terms you should promote your account from a child to an adult by following the directions here.

The parent must agree to the new terms first and then you can login to your own account and accept them. If you don't have access to the parental account you will need to try to reset the password found here. If that doesn't work try to fill out the Microsoft Account Recovery form found here.

If you're unable to either of those things then you may be out of luck. You can try to contact phone support and see if they are able to assist you in some way.

Further information in regards to the new terms of service agreement update can be found here.
