Can't Download Update Status Code 3F45-0000-3080-0506-8B05-0018

I've tried every solution and nothing's worked and i really need the help

Oh man that's definitely no fun! Have you tried the update with all accessories (including the Hard Drive) removed?  Just the USB in?  Also, how old is the system? Did you just get ti recently?

I turn on xbox.

It immediately tells me there is an update to Xbox Live - do you want to update?

I select yes.

Starts download and within a minute or two, I get the following error code:  3F4A-000-3080-0502-8007-0070

Before evening of 12/29/2012 everything was working great, since then:

I have tried to execute the update multiple times.

I have tried to the update manually via UBS and I still get this error.  

I have added route statements to my router though my XBox did not have a problem connnecting before.

Again, our XBox was working fine all the up through early evening 12/29/2012.

What should I do?  Getting ready to take this one back to the store and get another one...

Could you be a bit more specific for us please?  Are you getting the same error code as in the title of this thread?  If not, what is the exact error code that you are seeing?
 

Also, what are you doing, or trying to do, when you get the error?

The best way to fix this is throw ur xbox and get a playstation. I havent played xbox in 5 months then i go home ready to play live and i get this friggin status code. I tried EVERY thing. Dont clear ur chache because it deletes ur updates on everything and if u cant update ur console then u cant update ur games. Everything is wrong with my xbox. Need new disc drive, update failed i wouldnt be suprised if it blew up.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I've noted that you said you have tried all possible solutions, and am wondering if you have looked at the support article entitled "Troubleshoot console software update problems" ? Also is your console connected directly by a wire to your modem/router? On a final note do you have the option of connecting to a different network and trying all of the steps listed in the guide? Please keep us informed if you don't mind.

Any answer yet? I have the exact same problem - whenever I try to play AC III, it tells me an update is available, but every time I go to download it tells me Unable to Download, and gives me status code 3F45-0000-D080-0200-8007-2751.

My network connection is fine, no NAT issues, ran network test and Xbox Live test. Still not downloading.
