Can't connect to xbox live

As soon as i start up my xbox it will attempt to sign in my profile. Normally it takes 30 seconds to 1 minute to sign in, but now it takes 5 minutes only to fail to connect me to xbox live. When i do a network connection test i get an error when it trys to connect me to xbl.

Try restarting your modem/router by unplugging it for approx 10 seconds.  See if that helps.

This is no error, all it says is : "check your internet connection", when my internet works fine.

You said you ran the test. Do it once more for me and then hit More Info if it fails. If it does fail, above where it has the instructions is an error. Can you get me that error? While you do that, can you also get me your:

Internet Provider?

Modem/Gateway Make and Model?

Router Make and Model?

Error: All it says is "LIVE Connection Error"

Internet provider: Shaw cable

Router: Linksys EA3500

Modem: Motorola SB5100

Also my wireless network words completely fine, it's just my xbox.
