can't connect to xbox live

I just buy a Xbox 360 S and i'm connected to the internet but I can't connect to the xbox live...

someone know if the xbox live is offline or is having some problems?

There was glitch in the system. I suggest trying now. I'd like to know what your account's country is set up for?

I'm having same issue, was fine untill 3 hours ago now I cant connect, ive tried resetting everything.

This is a typical NAT-setting problem.

Sometimes my Xbox 360 switches from IP adres, I'll notice this straight away, because I get exact same problem as you discribe.

What you should do is a Network Test. (Go from the dashboard to Settings --> System --> Network Settings --> Network Test (when you initiate this, he asks you to log of your Xbox Account)

The last bar wil show you your current NAT setting.

BUT....... Sometimes your Xbox tells you its open, but it isn't completly.

Follow the steps as noted in one of the many 'Fix your NAT settings' threads and you're on your way in no time.

(make sure you open 'all' ports that are nescessery)

Sometimes navigating in your router is more difficult than thought. Don't hasitate to ask!

there isn't a NAT error, there's just a warning that I can't connect to teh Xbox Live right now...
