Can't connect to one friend who has the same ISP?

We both have Open NAT type, but we can't join each other's parties or games unless it's through someone else.

What can I do?

It's a real shame, because we're best friends irl :(

Both Of You Restart Your Router.

Then If that dosent work go to System Settings -> Network Settings ->  Click on your connection -> Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

Restarting doesn't help. Neither does testing Live connection, also I sometimes play at my grandparent's house and it works fine there, and the NAT is moderate.

If changing your network connection fixes the issue, I'm inclined to believe that there is an issue with your original network. Please make sure to run through all the stickies here for setting up your network properly. If that still doesn't work, perhaps trying a different router or modem would help. If nothing else, try contacting the ISP to see if there is something special that you need to do to allow the Xbox to connect to Xbox LIVE.
