Can't Connect To Live At All After Update

So tonight was the first time in weeks that I've turned on my XBOX360 to connect XBOXLIVE.

I'm met with this mandatory update. After it's finished I notice I'm not connected to LIVE, so I go to connect. It says I can't. I do a test. It says I can connect, but because my NAT is MODERATE, some features may not be available.

So that's fine. I go to connect and it still tells me I can't connect.

So I turn the Router :actiontec mi424wr, off and back on. I do the same with my XBOX360. No change.

I have no idea why I'm not able to connect. It says I can't when I attempt to, but when I do the test, it says I can with a MODERATE NAT.

I go to my Router's web page and look at the UPNP status and there are 2 boxes. One is checked and one isn't.

The one checked says: "Allow Other Network Users to Control Wireless Broadband Router's Network Features"

The one unchecked says: "Enable Automatic Cleanup of Old Unused UPnP Services"

What is going on? What do I do?

When this happens to me at my University, I run a connection check until it says that I can connect but it will be limited. Next, I go to dashboard and then sign in. That usually works for me. Just don't turn it off and on between those steps. After that is completed you shouldn't have to do it again. Sometimes the xbox just needs to be reassured that the connection is there.

If you did that and didn't shut down between the two steps then I don't know what else to suggest. I would just keep playing with it as you can connect in the check. The xbox may just be acting fidgety with your connection.

Yeah, I've tried both ways and nothing is working still.

Is a moderate NAT supposed to keep you offline altogether? Could it be the update?

Am I supposed to check that second box under UPNP?

So I've port forwarded my xbox360 and when I take the connectivity test, I pass all stages and it says everything is connected.

Still, when I go to connect, it says I can't. Ugh.

I began recovering my account, but I still couldn't connect. Turned console off. Back on. Avatar is gone. Gamerscore is gone and I've been looking at the "singing in" screen for like 10 minutes now.

I've been in a live chat with xboxlive support.

They directed me to recover my gamertag even though we hadn't resolved my xboxlive nonconnecting issue yet

so it stopped in the middle and now i have no profile.

So he told me to delete my port forwards and see if that fixes it. Had to reboot router. But I told him this would disconnect me from the chat. I think he knew this. He said don't worry, I'll be able to reconnect with him. Fool is gone.

I am pissed. Not only can i not connect. Now I have no profile. Now what.!

Yes, I am. My dummy account that I created can connect to Live fine.

Just my main account wouldn't connect and it still won't connect when I go to recover it.

I have a wired connection.

Okay, so I just noticed something. Although my Connectivity test passes with flying colors and I'm able to connect to live via my dummy account, down below after I've passes my connectivity test there's a Status Button. So I hit "Y", the status button, and this is what pops up:

Error Status Report:

W: 0000-0008

X: 0000-F001

Y: 20A8-4840

ID: FFFF-FFFF

Okay. Can somebody please tell me what this means and if this would have anything to do with my MAIN ACCOUNT not being able to connect to live and not being able to be recovered?
