Can't add billing details

After not using my 360 for years, I picked up a Xbone and decided to set everything up.

I can't seem to add a payment option as it thinks I'm in the US.

It says State/Province, but there are no Canadian Provinces in the list. There's also no Country. After some digging around I found a way to change my region, but when I go there, and select Canada(English) it gives me an error saying I can't.

Any workarounds?

You should be able to change your account region following the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

It will also mention potential reasons for not being able to migrate an account.

There may also be some error that you can see if you log in to https://commerce.microsoft.com, for instance an outdated billing address, which needs to be corrected before the account can be changed so drastically as to change region.

And if it still gives you problems, try calling Phone Support on 1-800-4MY-XBOX to get it worked out.
