can only connect if i disable my router security

i have a  router that uses wpa2, when i try to connect my wifi xbox it doesnt connect to my network, however if i disable the security on my router i can connect , someone told me i may need to download an update for wpa2, if this is so where would i get such an update?

you would have to get that type of update from your router manufaturer its self as any software related security conserns would be from there.

What happens when you try to connect Wirelessly? any error messages or codes under more info?

I don't believe, despite what the manual says, that the 360 Wifi supports WPA2. You could try WPA with AES, since that would work.

Actually it does support WPA2, My console is currently on a secured WPA2 wireless network. :)

It does support WPA2. What is the make/model of your router, as others have said router firmware updates can usually sort out this issue if there is one available and the fix exists in it. Is it a Belkin? Quite a few Belkin's have similar issues to this.
