Can Not Purchase Gold Membership

I've had gold for a year now when it should have just auto updated it did not. So I thought i would just buy another year manually but i keep getting this error.(its been about three weeks since I first got it)

Have you tried purchasing on the console? If so, does it give you an error code there (that would be the one used to figure out the problem)?

You can also try checking your account at billing.microsoft.com to check for any errors.

Yes i have tried both of those and I believe I got a message along the line of a Glitch in the system (Sorry it cut out the section of my post listing what I have done)

I'd suggest calling support then to see if they can help with this issue. Phone support are the only ones who can help with billing issues.

I fixed it thought i should try on console again like Smwutches said so i wen though the billing information section on dashboard and it worked. Still have no idea why it works now but thanks for the quick responses Smwutches!

I have the same exact problem and it doesnt work for me... i still cant get it to work... i was on the phone with support for over an hour trying to figure this out and in the end it was never fixed..

I am actually trying to purchase it for the first time and I keep getting the exact same thing.... I figured my paypal wasn't set up right but if this is happening to someone else too then i dunno.... I've sent an email to them and hope to recieve a reply in the next couple of days...

Kickaceplaya, what did phone support have to say about the issue specifically? Do you have an SR number? As Smwutches said, phone support is our primary team for resolving billing issues.
