Can not connect to xbox live since last update

Every since this last update came through that changed the dashboard I can not connect to xbox live.  I tried everything cleared cache, reset modems, cleared marketplace..done it all  everytime i try it say update available, run the update and it pops up again, update available.... i even unplugged the console and removed the storage harddrive... not sure what else to do.......... been like this for 3 weeks... about ready to smash it!!!! any help would be great before it gets expensive

What Error are you getting?  and what are you using? (Router/Modem or Gateway?)

Because depending on what you get, depends on what TS steps need to be taking

Depending on Wireless Set up

1-IP Reserve Xbox

2-DMZ your xbox

or

2-Port Forward UDP/TCP 3074 & 88

If neither works Reset your Router to fact default

If that doesn't work you need a new router
