Hey there folks,

I'm really sorry to hear that you are having issues with that error code.

I know that you said that you've tried some troubleshooting but I just wanted to make sure we covered all of our bases. There have been a couple things confirmed by others to help resolve things with this.

The most successful option has been the deleting profile route:

Several people have had success with just power cycling their network:
shut the Xbox down via the guide button on the controller

 • press the guide button and hold it in until you get the turn off console pop up
 • select turn off console then press A

I then shut off my Modem and unplugged all power to it.

Let the router sit for a minute.

Then plugged it back in and powered it on.

Booted up my xbox and tested my xbox live connection.

to check your xbox live connection:

 • Scroll to the settings on your dashboard
 • select system
 • select network settings
 • choose your network setup either wired or wireless which ever you use
 • select test xbox live connection

or
unplug modem and router
wait 5 mins then plug modem back in
then wait 5 mins, and plug router in wait till appropriate lights come back on
and fire up your xbox and sign in
I can definitely understand how this would be a frustrating and we're here to try and help get everyone back online and gaming.

To best accomplish this, we do ask that if these steps do not work for you, that everyone create their own thread detailing their issue along with the error code/message they see, and the troubleshooting steps that they've taken. This helps us to tailor our support to each of your individual needs.

Additional to Mister Fizzle's instruction steps, restore the Xbox network settings to factory defaults. Here's how:

 1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
 2. Select Network Settings.
 3. Select Wired Network if you are prompted to do so.
 4. Select the Additional Settings tab.
 5. Select Restore to Factory defaults.

If wired, press "B" on the controller and select Test Xbox LIVE Connection. If wireless, reconfigure Xbox wireless settings.
