Power off router and modem and wiat 5 min and have a cup of hot coco (coco is key!)

after coco is finished off you can plug in the modem.

the power of coco in your blood will be transfered to the modem. Its imporant to let the modem power all the way up.

after the modem has had time to process the power of the coco you can start up the router.

now try the xbox.

Same issue with me but when I run the test on the xbox it says ICMP error. My internet works completely fine...yet on Monday this issue came around. I've done all the regular stuff (reset router and modem, assigned xbox its own specific IP, talked to xbox support, talked to my internet provider support) and it's still not resolved.

Same problem here, with a similar setup! Netgear 114 and cable-connection to the 360. Everything worked fine until 2 days ago and since then I am not able to connect to the internet any longer. The 360 connects to the network, but not any farther. I haven't changed anything in my settings or with the setup, it's just not working any more from one moment to the other. I am from Germany btw.

When I plug in the same cable that is connected with the 360 into my Playstation 3, the PS3 is connecting to the internet just fine. It's just the 360 that won't do anything. And I don't get any kind of error-code, the console just won't connect. And I also tried anything that was suggested on the help-pages. Bummer.

So if anyone has the same problem and somehow solved it, any help would be gladly appreciated!

EDIT: Connecting the 360 directly with the modem didn't work for me either. It really is the absolut same problem than the OPs. Strange.

Okay, just filled it out. Still: I haven't changed anything, the connection failed from one moment to the other and didn't come back just 2 days ago. If I run the statuscheck, my 360 connects to the network, but then refuses to connect to the internet. It worked for years now without a problem! Below are the results ( "D", "S", "C" are labeled as "A", "G", "D" in my region, I hope the order is the same, but it should be, as the rest is in the same order too):

What Country/State/Province do you live in? Germany

Modem brand & model number: Teledat 431 LAN

Router brand & model number: Netgear RP 114

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? Cable-connection

Things you have tried: Turning on/off modem + router, resetting modem + router, resetting Xbox360 network stats to factory default, assigning static IP to Xbox 360, talking to MS support, plugged 360 directly into the modem instead of the router

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT? No NAT error

Any Error Codes you encounter: None

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? T-Online

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

@TK8542 are you using the same ISP?

@adam/TK

I know you have tried resetting the modem but can you try this:-

1) Connect the Xbox direct to the modem and reset the Xbox network settings to factory defaults

2) Power off the modem and Xbox

3) wait 30secs

4) Power up the modem

5) Wait 2mins

6) Power up the xbox and run the connection test, if it fails please state at which point it fails

Yeah, already tried this and did everything they recommended there. This is why I ended up here, it is the last recommendation they have if everything else fails :)
