Hi there

Not liking the new forums and couldnt find a forum search or thread that really cleared this up in my head, so forgive me for asking again....

My question is, is clearing the cache an ok thing to do, i've read that it can speed the xbox up slightly harddrive wise, but also that it can kill all your saves in the process. It seems simple enough to do and reading in a xbox magazine its worth doing.

Could anybody clear this up for me please

Clearing the cache on the Xbox 360 does NOT delete any game saves.

It only deletes temporary files and game updates on the xbox. The next time you load a game, it will download the latest game update for that specific game. It often gets rid of problems and can make the Xbox run smoother.
