Bungie.net difficulties, would this effect my Halo stats?

Hey all, recently I changed my Gamertag to A Website Troll from General Dan S.
As I use Bungie.net alot and have an account over there I signed in to check my Halo stats.

Lo' and behold they are not there anymore!
My original Gamertag stats and stuff are still there.

But my new name seems to have not played any Halo game.
Shouldn't this have migrated over?

Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there anyway I can change the situation?

(Not that I'm too fussed about my stats, but my Recon armour and such from halo 3 may be lost and I can't check if I have it or not until later)

Hi, it will take time for your stats to appear on your new gamertag (after the name change). As well as the stats from bungie.net, it will also take time for EA games such as BFBC2 etc.

No worries.

I had a friend who changed his gamertag and he was worried as well, as he mainly played Halo 3. But after a few days everything was back to normal.

When I log in to Bungie, it shows my old gamertag that I signed up with, as my Bungie account name, aswell as all of my fileshare, the author is my old gamertag, which is quite annoying. But it has my gamertag next to the account name.
