Bought Xbox Live Gold Kit...code will not redeem

Can anyone advise on this? Bought the Xbox live kit with 12 month gold membership. Tells me I have to create a new profile to set up the 12 month membership, but when I do this I can't access Account Management??  Also, when I tried to redeem the code under a different profile it tells me this code has already been redeemed. Is that because the profile I originally tried to add already had a Silver Live Membership with it? 

Guess my question is when I set up a new profile, why can't I access the Account Managemnt part under settings?

Hey there Circle! I'm not quite sure I follow. Which account did you first try adding the prepaid code to and how did you try adding it? Does that account now have Gold on it? You can double check the codes redeemed to an account by logging in at https://commerce.microsoft.com and checking. Please let us know what you find there, thanks!
