Bought an Xbox 360, but it doesn't have a DVD Drive

Ok, im new to this forum and i didn't know where to post this thread, so i just posted it here

My friend got a new xbox 2 days ago because his xbox he bought in 2007, DVD Drive broke: the motor and the lazer broke inside it so he just threw it away

and he gave the Xbox to me for $20. It still works, it can turn on and produce a picture and all but its just that there is no DVD Drive.

so is there a way to replace it without paying so much to repair?

Nope and MS won't touch it because it's been modified by a party that isn't them. Essentially you've bought a $20 paperweight that's likely going to get permabanned from XBL in the near future.

Best thing you can do with it is dispose of it. If there's a way to do it in an enviromentally friendly way then I'd go with that. Keeps Greenpeace happy at the very least.
