Bought a new controller, won't sync up with the xbox.

Ok so i bought a new wireless controller and today i was testing it, and it doesnt seem to work.

My previous controller works fine, I don't get why this one doesn't. I tried everything, holding both the sync button on the xbox and controller at the same time, i tried unplugging the xbox from the power cord, i removed the hard drive, I even tried some stuff turning off the TV and then trying to sync and still no results

What could possibly be this problem and how to solve it? I Use other controllers and they work fine so its not the xbox but this new controller seems fine too and it turns on and everything

have you tried connecting it using a plug and play charging cord?  if not try that and let us know what results you get.

Go back to the shop you bought it from and say it does not work obviously take your receipt with you and you should be good to go.

I realise that you have tried the sync buttons, but maybe there is a sequence to this?
