from canada??? I didn't think 1600 pt cards existed in Canada....just 1400 and 2800. If they aren't from Canada you wasted your money and they will never work

Correct.  Microsoft Point Cards are region locked and the 1600 Point Cards will not work in Canada.

Sorry bub, as noted, the 1600 cards are for American's only, not us Canadians.  This is the great Microsoft rip off.  Charging Canadians more money for points cards (because we only get 1400 or 2800 points cards instead of 1600 or 3200 points cards).  Even now, when our Canadian dollar is worth more - Microsoft still chooses to rip off Canadians.

I've complained a few times to Microsoft - but like most things, they just ignore it.

My suggestion (and what I do) - only purchase items on Xbox Live when they're discounted.  That way you get more value out of our points cards.

Buying items on sale should be anyone's standard if said content is even worth buying at all.  There's _a lot_ of overpriced content on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
